“Water, in one form or another, has always been an intrinsic part of my life.”

Heather grew up in SoCal where she spent most weekends riding the waves of the Pacific Ocean. She then moved to Pagosa Springs, Colorado where she traded in her boogie board for a snowboard and learned to ride in the fresh pow-pow of the San Juans. She now reigns over a clutch of second graders that fill her heart with joy and wonderment. She joined the Brain Bank because, in her words, “We’re a bunch of passionate people who have a passion for people”. What better way to love on people than to provide them with fresh, clean water, forever? She’s dedicated to living a better story and inspiring others to do so as well.

Slogan for life…

Live and live fully. Love and love deeply.

Mountains, beaches, adventuring with my boy, coffee on Saturday mornings with friends, the cold side of the pillow, dark chocolate, giggling so hard it hurts, red wine, audio books, watching soccer, spontaneous exploring, dried mango, sermons you have to listen to more than once, hugs, Googling, Californian sunsets, and learning new things.

I weekend warrior for…

Hiking one of Colorado’s peaks over 14,000 ft, wakeboarding, snowboarding, snowshoeing, bike riding, sky diving, driving home, or playing soccer in the park.

Random facts…

My father has 11 toes, I’m double jointed, I dislike all dairy products except ice cream, I am afraid of mascots, I love heights (especially skydiving and would do it every weekend if I could), I cannot sit still (well), and most times when I meet someone new they respond by saying, “I think I know you from somewhere…” or “You look just like so and so that I know…” Must be my dynamic personality and dashing good looks! ha
