New York born and Colorado raised, Arlo is no stranger to the outdoors. Growing up wandering the mountains in the beautiful and wild Vail Valley sparked in him an interest for everything adventurous. This ultimately led to Arlo coming to Boulder where he has spent the past four years pursuing a BA in Civil Engineering at CU. Having chosen Water Resource Engineering as his concentration study, 2MW and the CO54 project seemed a perfect fit for Arlo’s professional and outdoor ambitions. “What’s cooler than scaling some summits to end water poverty?”

Random fact:

Arlo earned a black belt in both Taekwondo and Hapkido at the age of 14. He practices to this day.

Quote:

“What man is a man who does not make the world better?”  – Balian of Ibelin

On the Bucket List:

Work on an engineering project in a third world country, climb all 54 14ers in Colorado and become a Master of Taekwondo.
